Em 2016 durante a residência de arte Despina, Liana Nigri colaborou com Adam Golub, um cineasta israelense-americano que reside no Brooklyn.
Dandara Zainabo tem uma cicatriz acima do umbigo de comer tijolos quando criança. Hoje, ela é uma ativista trans de 19 anos que vive nas ruas do Rio de Janeiro. Este video-retrato experimental procura preservar o espírito dessa potente mulher que vive no limite da força e da fragilidade
O resultado deste projeto consiste em um filme de 9 minutos que mostra o processo da artista tirando o molde da cicatriz de Dandara ponto de partida para uma conversa sobre suas ideias a cerca da vida.

Dandara Zainabo has a scar around her belly button from eating bricks as a young child. Today, she is a 19 year old trans activist living on the streets of Rio de Janeiro. This experimental portraiture seeks to preserve the spirit of this mighty woman that lives on the edge of strength and fragility.
The result of this project consists of a 9-minute film that shows the artist's process by taking the scar mold from Dandara as a starting point for a conversation about her ideas about life.
